Selena Flores, California Women’s Atomweight Weight Chamption – Uses The Cryo Warehouse to help her recover from her 6 training sessions per week.
Selina Flores was born and raised in Vista, California. She graduated high school as the captain of her cheerleading team and now attends California State University San Marcos to study Kinesiology. She first became introduced to the combat sport of Muay Thai when she was 15. This was a decision made by her parents, for her to learn the basics of self defense in case it ever became necesary to use. Little did they know that Selina would find her passion in life and future career through their decision. Selina trains at The Compound Mixed Martial Arts and Fitness in Oceanside under the guidance of her two striking coaches John Schultes and Sean Loeffler, and conditioning coach Cass Morison. She trains twice a day, 6 days a week and fights actively with a record of 7 wins and 2 losses. Selina earned herself her first belt in January making her the IAMTF Women’s Atomweight California Champion. She plans to continue to fight against other top contending women with big names in the sport to give her the necessary experience before becoming a professional. Being a professional world champion is a dream that Selina says she plans to make a reality, and wants to inspire others to pursue their passions through watching her journey.
